If you have a salt chlorinator turn the needle down so that less salt/ chlorine is produced.Alternatively you can run your pump for much shorter time periods thereby saving on electricity. TEST YOUR WATER REGULARLY TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE THE CORRECT PH LEVELS!! Unbalanced ph (when water is too concentrated )will damage your pool cover in various ways, eg blistering,bubbles coming off cover etc.This is NOT due to factory fault and therefore NOT covered by the guarantee !
